It was the most wonderful wedding of all... I married my love on a private Greenwich pier on the Thames, on the most glorious sunny day. Summer in London is wonderful and this day couldn't have been happier. The venue itself was a stunning, beautifully planted greenhouse. Our ceremony was outside with seating along the pier walkway and we spent the rest of the day alongside our 150 guests in and out of the huge greenhouse. The venue didn't need much flowering due to built-in planters brimming with blooms. For the tables I chose clear vases to compliment the formality of the dining, but also to add a contemporary twist in the casual setting. Happily my cutting garden featured heavily everywhere... from the vases on the tables to my huge, wild bouquet and buttonholes.
